East Vets v Midland Vets @ Glenbervie GC on Tuesday 14th May 2019

What a glorious day for the East v Midland match at Glenbervie GC - brilliant sunshine and very little wind. The course,with its stunning view from the first tee, was in beautiful condition. The match was, like last year, very close with the remaining 3 matches on the course all 1 up going up the 18th. Unfortunately it was not enough to win the match which ended 4:3 to Midland Vets.

Claire Cappocci won 3/2 v Susan Rennie

Karen Burns halved with Caroline Johnstone 

Gillian Wallace won 3/2 v Morag Wardrop

Elsie Hutcheon halved with Sal Shepherd

Sally Hebden lost 2 down to Linda Caine

Sarah Walker lost 8/7 to Fiona Ford

Lyn Fleming won 5/4 v Jane Herd.

Thanks to Margaret Tough and the Midland team for a very enjoyable day which was rounded off with a lovely meal in the clubhouse.
