Summer Meeting at Haddington GC Tuesday 28th May 2019

The Summer Meeting was held today at Haddington Golf Club. 

The rain stopped just in time for the first tee time and thankfully the weather was fair for the rest of the day. Thanks to Haddington Golf Club. 

The CSS 74 Par 73 and a counting competition for handicap.

East Vets v Midland Vets @ Glenbervie GC on Tuesday 14th May 2019

What a glorious day for the East v Midland match at Glenbervie GC - brilliant sunshine and very little wind. The course,with its stunning view from the first tee, was in beautiful condition. The match was, like last year, very close with the remaining 3 matches on the course all 1 up going up the 18th. Unfortunately it was not enough to win the match which ended 4:3 to Midland Vets.

Claire Cappocci won 3/2 v Susan Rennie

Karen Burns halved with Caroline Johnstone 

Gillian Wallace won 3/2 v Morag Wardrop

Elsie Hutcheon halved with Sal Shepherd

Sally Hebden lost 2 down to Linda Caine

Sarah Walker lost 8/7 to Fiona Ford

Lyn Fleming won 5/4 v Jane Herd.

Thanks to Margaret Tough and the Midland team for a very enjoyable day which was rounded off with a lovely meal in the clubhouse.
