We were extremely lucky with the weather for the Foursomes Match against the West Vets on Thursday 16th August. It was a great day and the course was in excellent condition. Thanks to Chris for organising the team from the West and to all our ladies who represented the East Vets team.

Pam Townsend & Vivien Mitchell v Marion Mason & Enid Young 0
Jan Laing & Marjory Lauder v Ann Shanks & Sandra Littlejohn 1
Louise Campbell & Anne Rorrison v Fiona Rodger & Mary Wylie 1
The team performed very well resulting in an overall draw which is a great achievement this year against a strong West team. However, it did mean that the West Vets retain the Salver for 2018.
We have a challenge to get our name back on the Salver next year!
