East Vets v Midlands Vets @ Liberton Golf Club 24th May 2018
The singles scratch match against Midlands Vets was played today at Liberton Golf Club. The weather was lovely,sunny and warm. Everyone enjoyed playing the course which was in great condition. Many thanks to Liberton Golf Club. Thanks also to the caterer for the excellent meal provided.
The match was played in great spirit and the result was very close. East just managed to win by 4 games to three. The deciding game going down the 18th all square. Jane Herd poured in her putt to win her match one up and securing the win for the East.
Thanks to Lorna Bennett, the Midlands Captain and her team and also the East Vets team for a very enjoyable day.

Well done East Vets for retaining the Liz Miskimmin Trophy. As ever, there was the friendly competitiveness associated with this match, and with Liz herself.
