In our annual match against Midland Vets on 18th May for the Liz Miskimmin Friendship Quaich, East Vets won narrowly 4 to 3 in sunny Stirling. The course was in great condition and the weather simply wonderful!
Pictured above is the 18th green with Stirling Castle rising majestically behind the clubhouse. Five of the seven matches reached the 18th green demonstrating just how close this match was. The full results were as follows:

(Crail) (Gullane)
Sarah Walker halved with Sal Shepherd

As ever, this match was played in friendly, competitive spirit and it was lovely to be able to enjoy a drink together in the sunshine before a delicious post-match meal). Lizee McGraw (Midland Vets Captain) presented Anne Brownie (acting team captain for East Vets) with the Liz Miskimmin Friendship Quaich (below).
Thanks to Lorna Bennett (Midland Vets Vice Captain) for acting as photographer for East Vets whilst Anne Brownie was playing her match against Cecilia Kenny. These photos may be viewed by clicking on the link here
