EAST VETS SUE & LESLEY FLY THE SALTIRE ABROAD

The French Senior Ladies International Foursomes were played at the exclusive Morfontaine Golf Course (north east of Paris) between 26-28 April. In the corresponding event last year (in Belgium), East Vets members Sue Penman and Lesley Johnston finished second - pipped by just one shot in the three round scratch foursomes medal play format.

This year, Sue and Lesley posted the best second round score to make the cut tied second going into day three before coming a very creditable third overall.

Congratulations to Sue and Lesley for flying the flag abroad, and for finishing so high up the leaderboard two years in a row! Tres bien joue.
