2013 : looking forward to the new season.

At your committee’s first meeting of 2013 a number of the suggestions made at the 2012 AGM were discussed. The idea of having some form of social and/or talk in the off-season will be carried forward for implementation in the winter of 2013/14.

Another suggestion was to have a foursomes matchplay knockout competition: this will be introduced on a trial basis in 2013 with players choosing their own partner.    Entry will be via the usual competitions entry form which Katherine expects to issue shortly.    Watch out for this arriving and please return promptly, remembering to include your CDH number as we will need this for the 2013 season.

The 2013 fixtures are almost ready to go to print and you will see some changes of venue (for differing reasons).    Ahead of issue of the Fixture Card, here are some dates for your diary :

9^th April        Spring Meeting        Gullane 3

10^th June      Summer Meeting  The Glen 

The  Championship matchplay 1st round is to be played during w.c 29th July.  
The semifinals are to be played at 10.00 and 10.07am with the final at 3pm  on Sunday 4th August.)

26^th August   Autumn Meeting     Liberton
